The Certificate in Information Security Management Principles (CISMP) is a foundation level certificate offered by the British Computing Society (BCS).
The course is aimed at those wishing to move into Information Security, whether they already work in IT, or have a completely different job and seek a career change.
CISMP aims to provide people with a solid beginning in the field of Information Security, though many already working in IT, such IT Managers, risk professionals, developers, server and networking team members, compliance and audit staff, will also benefit from the course

The exam
The exam is a multiple-choice exam with 40 questions, the pass mark is 26 correct answers (65%) needed to pass.
The exam is taken online and is closed book.
